Similarly to the small canals that weave through the romantic city of Venice, between all the over populated main waterways and extravagant facades of historic architecture, I live in a neighborhood with back alleyways. These alleyways are the true face of the neighborhood. It is where all the detached garages reside and where the refuse waits in its appointed cans to be picked up every wednesday morning at 10am. It is where the occupants of these homes enter their houses, keep their extra belongings, and do not put much effort into maintaining appearances. I love these alleyways and decided a while ago to document them. Mostly the uniqueness of each garage, but its an ongoing project that has been delayed due to the wretched winter season. I will persist! These are just a few examples of hopefully more to come.
